Welcome to Ten's blogspot. Here we proudly present our unique venue, cocktails, staff, parties and much more.
In our site you can find out what's going on, book your celebration or event, have a bit of fun or look back at some of the past events at Worthing's ultimate party venue.
In this politically special post we give you a guide to what all the fuss is about, preview what's coming soon to Ten, review our weekend of partying, announce the winners of our FITC competition, and a couple of videos from Youtube.com.
FITC COMPETITION:
Thanks to all our staff and guests who came along to Ten last weekend, which included a birthday party, hen party, work party, a group from Northbrook College and a very unique group of emergency service costumes! Here are this weeks winners, congratulations and a £10 bar tab to each of you!
All you have to do to claim your prize is show your winning face at the bar. If you want to be the Face in the Crowd, then all you need to do is show up on Friday nights, Saturday nights or one of our exclusive events and our photographer will gladly take your photo.
COMING SOON!:
And on the seventh day......he put on some funky house with a twist of disco. DJ Sony is the latest name to join Ten's DJ line-up and will be setting your week off in style.
Having previously appeared on the same bill as DJ Slipmatt and MTV regulars, DJ Sony will be launching Sunday sessions every Sunday from 8pm. And rest assured we'll have some fantastic drinks deals for you too!
All new menu! Ten has redesigned its food menu to give you a great choice of options from simple dishes like chips with cheese or garlic bread to tear-and-share with friends, to full racks of Jack Daniels glazed ribs and spit roast chicken.
For the coming World Cup we have a brand new range of handy food to eat while you watch the biggest screen in Sussex.
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
You may have noticed that there's much ado in Whitehall, its that time again where we get to choose who 'runs the country'. While we suspend our belief that those elected would actually run the country, Ten has compiled a little guide to some of the suits demanding your attention. The main change this year is that we get to watch the three main parties debate live on TV, which seems to be a bizarre mix of Blind Date and The Dragons Den. Aside from being the prime minister the winner gets a salary of £132,923, in addition to a salary of £64,766 as a Member of Parliament, a house called the Chequers and a potential seat in the House of Lords (That's where they actually decide what should be law). Lets meet the contestants!
Name: Gordon Brown.
Party: Labour.
What does he do?: He's the British Prime Minister.
What's his plan?: To agree with the Liberals so the Conservatives look like they have no friends, he wants to cut down the size of the House of Lords (a good thing), he made the mess and wants to clear it up!
What's interesting about him?: His left eye is fake!
Name: David Cameron.
Party: Conservative.
What does he do?: He's the leader of the Conservatives and thinks Margaret Thatcher was cool.
What's his plan?: Cameron likes to talk about social issues, wants to make cuts from the NHS, doesn't want Europe to call the shots and wants to remove inheritance tax.
What's interesting about him?: Upon being caught smoking cannabis at school was given the punishment of 500 lines of Latin text.
Name: Nick Clegg
Party: Liberal Democrats.
What does he do?: Who knows!?! He was ignored by the British media until his recent TV appearance.
What's his plan?: To distance himself from the two candidates and present himself as a credible alternative to the 'old' parties, wants to reinvent British politics, and to have his hands in his pockets all the time.
What's interesting about him?: Claimed he's slept with "no more than 30 women".
SOMETHING ELSE:
Its been a pretty serious post so far so we thought we'd remind ourselves of just how immature we can be at times. So in honour of that, and our General Manager's trumpeting talents, here are a few videos to make you smile!
A massive thank you to everyone who has been involved in Ten this week, you genuinely make it the greatest place to be!

If you're new to the concept of the FIFA World Cup then here's a few facts about the competition:
DID YOU SEE?
I would love to publish all the shots that don't make the final cut, but for fear of a deformation of image suit I've gone with the shots which speak 999 words other than 'mentalist'.
SOMETHING ELSE:
Ten would like to disclaim that we do not encourage binge drinking, looking silly or putting excessive amount of St George's flags on your car. And so to make sure we've covered our health and safety obligation here are a few instructional videos to make sure you are safe at home, on a date or in the work place.
Thanks again to all those people who have given a little bit of themselves to Ten this week, and don't forget to join our Facebook group for much more Ten related mischief.

If you're new to the concept of the FIFA World Cup then here's a few facts about the competition:
- During the 18 tournaments that have been held, seven nations have won the title. Brazil have won the World Cup a record five times, and they are the only team to have played in every tournament. Italy, the current champions, have won four titles, and Germany are next with three titles. The other former champions are Uruguay, winners of the inaugural tournament, and Argentina, with two titles each, and England and France, with one title each.
- The World Cup is the most widely-viewed sporting event in the world, an estimated 715.1 million people watched the final match of the 2006 World Cup held in Germany.
- The next World Cup will be held in 2014 in Brazil.

Welcome to Ten's Blogspot
Welcome to Ten's blogspot. Here we proudly present our unique venue, cocktails, staff, parties and much more.
In our site you can find out what's going on, book your celebration or event, have a bit of fun or look back at some of the past events at Worthing's ultimate party venue.
In this post we review the weekends frivolities, preview our up-and-coming events, the latest winners from our FITC competition, a couple of videos courtesy of YouTube.com, but there's no "Did you see?:" this week, it appears that we behaved ourselves (mostly) last weekend.
FITC COMPETITION:
This weeks FITC was co-edited and co-selected by three and a half year old Holly, and it was clear who was the boss during the process! As usual the two winners can each claim a £10 bar tab, and all they had to do was to turn up at Ten on a Friday or Saturday night and getting snapped by our resident photographer.
Congratulations to our two winners and all they need to do to claim their prizes is to show their winning faces at the bar. If you want to be one of the FITC winners next week just make yourself known to the guy with the camera!
UP-AND-COMING:
St Georges day:
This month we strap on our patriotism hat for Ten's St George's Day party. On the 23rd April we'll be giving FREE SHOTS to those who come to Ten dressed in medievil costumes.
With DJ Diggers manning the drawbridge, we've got fantastic drinks deals including 3 selected bottles for just £5.95, Ten's day of celebration looks to give that Paddy's day a run for it's stout money - seeing as he was actually from Briton too! We look forward to seeing you there!
Open from 8pm till 3am.
Sports:
This year Ten is bringing you highlights from the world of sport: From Wimbledon to World Cup Football to Cricket, you can watch the latest action on the BIGGEST SCREEN IN WORTHING. A whopping 169 square feet!!
We are projecting selected games and matches so you can enjoy the atmosphere Ten Style, why not dress as the sports men and women and represent your team or player! Simply click on the poster for a larger view.
FIFA World Cup 2010:
You may have heard that there's some kind of football tournament going on, "it's a game of two halves" I'm reliably informed. And "its goes on till it's over!", so that's two reasons to watch!
We'll be showing the titans of football clash in selected matches throughout the competition, including England's matches. The first England match is 12th June at 8.30pm against the USA, followed on the 18th by a game against Algeria.
I don't pretend to know anything about the sport but this video below certainly made the hype a little clearer.
A BIT OF FUN:
Coming up we have a gig from The Channel, a cover band who are set for their third performance at Ten: There's more about that event coming up next week. And to mark that occasion here are a few bands who may not make it onto the Ten stage. Some may lack talent but their unflinching commitment to being this crappy is astounding, some are actually fairly good. Enjoy!
As usual I'd like to thank everyone involved in making Ten the venue it is! If you have any thoughts on how we can make your experience even better then do drop us a line!

Welcome - Ten Style

In this post we review the Easter weekend, massive Supersaurus gig, the latest winners from our FITC competition, a little bit of fun and a couple of amazing videos courtesy of YouTube.com.
FITC COMPETITION:
Its was another blinding weekend for our photographer as he captured the party scene, we had Wonder Woman out on her 30th birthday, a stag do and even an Easter bunny or two! Here are this weeks winners who each have a bar tab of £10 waiting for them this weekend.
Congratulations to both the winners, all you have to do to claim your prize is to show your winning face at the bar! If you'd like a shot at being the FITC winner next week, then come along to Ten on a Friday or Saturday night and Lukas will gladly grab a picture - he's the one carrying the camera!
EASTER REVIEW:
It all began on the Thursday night with a wall-banging set from Mr.A.D.Hall, cleaning out our ears with his own particular fusion of video mixing and scratching.
A massive night was had by all, and Ten was a capacity before 10pm! Setting off the Easter bank-holiday with style.
Following this was our Friday night party under the supervision of DJ Diggers, whose bag of tricks included funky house, party tracks and the odd anthem or two.
Saturday night was the turn of new guy DJ Pete, resident of Oceana, Brighton. His first time at Ten, Pete pulled more than rabbits out of his proverbial. Providing top quality video mixing, scratching and original mixes.
On the bottom of the two pics is our local hero DJ Diggers, and on the top is DJ Pete entertaining some of our guests.
Next on the line-up was Sunday's live band Supersaurus. Delivering top quality covers of all your favorite tracks, whether it was funk, pop, rock or nu-metal-crossover, Supersaurus showed us that Worthing rock wasn't just a viagra accident at the water refinery. For more info and pictures from the Supersaurus gig, click here.
DID YOU SEE?
NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY......:
We love our guests and in return we want to give you some love. In order to find that perfect love for you we've got a few videos of prospective lovers for you. Easy now, some are a little too hot for delicate hands!
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the best and busiest bar in town!!!
