JJX - A night of Burlesque and Entertainment.

Thursday 7th April saw one of the biggest events to come to Ten, Jamie's Journey - A night of burlesque and entertainment.  We had 56 people and 14 acts involved, which included anything from poker champions to rappers, burlesque dancers, film producers and photographers, raffles and much more besides.  The total raised was £1022.

The night was kicked off by a performance from the NDG (Northbrook Dance Group), with 8 dances including I Just Wanna Make Love to You by Etta James and Express by Christina Aguilleira.  This was punctuated with acts from two of the burlesque girls Cherry Bella and Sweet Tease.  The act from Cherry Bella included a very messy cream and Bakewell routine, and even the front row got a taste of the action.

After we changed up the stage we had the first of our bands, Covered, take to the stage.  "I would've paid £10 just to see them (Covered)" was one of the very favorable reviews of their show.  With tracks like Valerie by Amy Winehouse and Hold On, I'm Coming, Covered played a roaring set and let a very good impression on the crowd.

Following them in good stead was Thunk and their first performance at Ten, who ripped a set of original material.  Following in the live music section we had two urban performances from Miss B and Mr.Y.G, performing tracks from his latest album Sound of Money Volume I.

This was followed by more performances from our burlesque performers Lily L'Amore, Lexi Allure, Sweet Tease, Blue Bella and Cherry Bella.  This was, of course, punctuated by a performance by our headline act David van Day and Sue Moxley, A.K.A Rich and Famous, who gave Ten an exclusive performance of 80's medleys.
SUPERSAURUS - 4TH APRIL 2010.

Providing the closing entertainment for Easter bank holiday in 2010, Supersaurus packed in the crowds for thier awesome covers from past and present.  The four piece rocked Ten with a two set performance which included hits by Kings of Leon, Killers and Rage Against the Machine to name but a few.  The last day of the Easter bank holiday saw Ten open till 2am, with new and old faces gracing the dance floor with Ian 'Diggers' Digweed launching the after-party.

In 2010, we brought you the latest FIFA World Cup Football action, to the BIGGEST SCREEN IN SUSSEX. A whopping 169 square feet of projecting screen was buzzing with live matches from the competition in South Africa. From the first match to the last, you were able to drink, dine, dance and now support your team Ten style!

Table hire was available with table service and free party planning, with a wide variety of drinks deals to keep you well hydrated. So whether you were hoping to see text book ESES implementation, solid 4-5-1's, Ronaldo MacDonaldo have a tantrum, or Rooney do his impression of spud, Ten was the venue.

WKD BALLOON STOMP:
March saw one of Ten's most energetic events, The Great Balloon Stomp - sponsored by WKD.  During the day the staff blew up over 100 balloons filling them with cards which were worth from a drink to a holiday.  These were then suspended above the bar in a large net and when 11pm came the net was cut and the balloons were at the mercy of the crowd.

With stillhettos and fake nails flying everywhere the crowd stomped on the balloons collecting the vouchers as they went.

WKD regularly support our events with stock and POS so if you'd like to be a part of the next event then join our Facebook group here for regular information updates.
