KANE RICCA
Dancer.

Kane had his West-End debut as a principle in The Far Pavilions at The Shaftesbury Theatre, at a mere 11 years of age, Kane continued to built a viable list of contacts in the Entertainment Industry. In 2007 Kane was given the opportunity to go to Switzerland, Zurich to Choreograph and Feature in FIFA’s 57th World Congress at the 20000 seated Hallen Stadion. He was honoured to be given the opportunity to be the first person in the world to announce the new FIFA slogan ‘For The Game For The World’ to FIFA’s President Mr Blatter.

Although training in Musical Theatre, Kane wanted to explore different areas of the profession and auditioned for Sky1’s New Dance Show, Got To Dance. He competed every Weekend on Live Television and made it through to the Final 18 Dancers and the Live Semi Finals. This launched Kane into the public eye. Kane was then offered a new comedy series on Nickelodeon called Summer In Transylvania where he became a regular character and can now be seen Every Friday at 6.10pm on Nickelodeon. Kane describes the show as “Saved by the Bell meets Twilight, with a touch of High School Musical for good measure”. While filming for Nickelodeon, Kane was cast in a new production of The Who’s Cult Extravaganza ‘Tommy’, where Kane recreated the title role to standing ovations every night and raving reviews.

A true triple threat, Kane is self taught on the Piano, Guitar and Drums and is releasing an album called ‘Ghosts’, early in 2011. With his single ‘Your Heart’ available to download on iTunes now. Kane is a regular teacher at Pineapple Dance Studios and can be seen in the second series of the smash-hit show on Sky1, airing in January.

JJX - BURLESQUE AND ENTERTAINMENT:
The plans for the burlesque and entertainment evening in aid of Jamie Chappell is coming along very very well thanks to the generousity of the people who are involved.  Since the launch of the event and the blogspot two weeks ago we have gathered over 50 different performers, dancers, stilt walkers and burlesque performers from many different backgrounds.  From ex-Dollar frontman and IACGMOFH star David van Day and The Sun's beauty editor and cosmetic guru Sue Moley, to Burlesque dancers Lexi Allure and Lily L'Amore, Ten is laying bringing out its biggest guns on the 7th April 2011 from 7pm.  All involved have given their time to support Jamie's journey to the US to have a vital operation to enable him to have a better quality of life.

This week we have had a few new acts to bring to the performance bill:  Covered are a seven piece band who play the very best of music from a HUGE array of genres.  From classic soul, blues and motown, through Jazz and a multitude of contemporary pop styles Covered play right accross the nation and are coming to grace our stage for the cause.

If you would like to find out more about Covered then you can visit their site here.  They guys have a Facebook group too, which you can find here, please visit them and give them support as they have given theirs to us.

We will have much more details about the rest of our line up and how the evnt is coming along in coming weeks so stay tuned for more.  Don't forget to join the Facebook groups here and here, and of course Ten Cocktail Bar's group here.

A LITTLE SOMETHING ELSE:

Apparently people haven’t figured out that with the number of cameras in existence today, any time you get it on in public, someone’s lens is going to catch you. Here are some of the greatest I’ve found where people were just trying to take a nice photo… and someone had to get in and totally ruin it. Great stuff!
